I want to respond to Micheal P's review. I run a non-profit program to assist individuals in need of repairs. Meineke in Brooklyn Park is kind enough to partner with us in this endeavor. They provide a generous discount to us in order to give back to the community. The person Micheal is referring to is a client of our program, and was not following the program guidelines. Taking her car back has literally cost her hundreds of dollars. What may have seemed like high pressure sales, or rudeness, was them trying to convince her that she was making a big financial mistake. For this I applaud them. That being said... I have sent nearly 100 cars to this Meineke and still trust them enough to have them repair my personal cars. This is a great shop with a great staff.
Jeremy, Al, and the rest of the crew here do an awesome job! These guys are as honest as It gets, even if that means making them less money. They bring up safety concerns as well as suggested maintenance and then prioritize the repairs into what should be done now, and what can wait. Some shops will say "you need $1000 worth of repairs or your car won't ever be right again" when in reality, it may only need a $400 repair, and the other $600 can wait a little longer. I recommend these guys to everyone and look forward to working with them in the future!
These guys ALWAYS go above & beyond! Mostly Jeremy, but whomever on the phone is knowledgeable, always polite & is more flexible/far less rigid with scheduling than most places. Not only do they magically find time on the occasions I don't have an appointment, they get me in/out very quickly for both scenarios! As everyone thinks shops are shady for, they have found other things wrong when servicing my car; each of which I was damn glad was caught before causing me larger issues or danger! Not just BS stuff that didn't really need attention. I've been shown the filters removed/fluid colors/busted parts (showing they really needed to be replaced!). No pressure to do any work.. they'll even drop you/pick you back from work/home if it's close & they have the time! Quiet, clean, spacious waiting room with phone charger docks, children's play corner & beverage stand.
Went in for an oil change. Pricing was pretty standard and they advertised it included a tire rotation. While waiting in the lobby for my oil change to finish another customer came in asking for her car back. What I heard was that her repair parts had not come in and no one was keeping in touch with her on the multi-day delay. The employee talking to her started getting hostile and told her she was missing out on thousands of dollars of repairs. The customer acknowledged this and asked for her car again while heading to the lobby to wait. The employee then followed her to where we were all waiting and confronted her again, unprovoked. It was unprofessional and unnecessary.
I had a free oil change code from T-mobile. Called this center and asked to make an appointment to redeem. The respresentative apparently knew about this promotion but he told me they don't honor it. Apparently he is lying. I later called another Meineke to have the oil changed and they honored my code without an issue. This place is dishonest because they lied and didn't want to do it just because it is free. If you have a promotion, you should honor it. If they can lie on this I am sure they will cheat on customers on millions of other things as well. Don't use them!!
I read glowing reviews & think someone had a vested interest.. no boyfriend there, don't work there,not paid for this, etc. They've just been so good to me over years. The owner is a great guy.. runs a great shop. My secret diamond in the rough!
