I have a super-tall, 135-year-old upright piano that has always been a nightmare to move, especially as a single woman in my early twenties living alone and moving alone. Seriously, when I move (as I have every year since 2010) I absolutely DREAD moving the piano, but it is a family heirloom, and I love the thing. Arin Piano was drop-dead incredible. They completed my entire move in about 30 mins, absolutely zero damage anywhere, and were so efficient, tipping the piano on its side to get it into my apartment's small elevators. This was the most hassle-free, effortless move I've ever done, and I am so impressed and it was a really reasonable price! God forbid I have to move again anytime soon, but I will never move again without using Arin's services, and I'll be using them for tuning and any repair needs as well. Very satisfied.

I had a bad costumer service experience ever since the beginning with this guy. He was very eager to schedule me for the next day, which I found pretty impressive. But it was too good to be true. I was in a tight schedule, and rearranged my day just for his visit to tune my instrument. He called me minutes before scheduled time that he cannot make it on that time. I was very lenient about this, and agreed with his proposition to come later. He came later that day, and tuned the instrument. He sure liked to rush and during the final phases was eager to leave even though I had some question and clarification I need to voice. The next day the piano was out of tune worse than before. The notes were now randomly off tune, unlike parallel before his visit.

Had Arin's Piano Co. come and move a piano I just purchased. The entire experience was great, and very professional. They had to move the piano down a flight of steps, and did it with ease. He also tuned the piano, and did a great job. Will be using this company again, and the prices was the best that I could find.

I absolutely hate writing bad reviews, but this is an exception.

Terrible customer service. We made an appointment for a piano to be moved from my grandma's to our house and everything went fine with the move, except one of the castors came off. No big deal, and they said they would fix it the following week, as it was late on a Friday night. It's now been 3 weeks and we haven't heard back, despite numerous follow up emails.

After calling and rescheduling to have him come over and fix it for two weeks I gave up. He kept on giving odd excuses as to why he cannot come in the day he said he would. Very irresponsible. I did not expect such behavior from a professional. I will never be coming back to this business, and do not recommend it for anyone else.

i've used this guy's company to move a piano to our home twice now(most recently 05/04/16), and both times he and his assistants were on time, cordial, very competent, and efficient. my wife is still talking about close our newest upright is to being in tune even after the move. (because i was not able to move our old upright into the garage in time for the new one's arrival, i paid him a little more to also move our old upright into our basement - for me to tinker with - and now need to wait til next pay to get him back to tune the new one). there are a couple earlier reviews that i think might be slander planted by competitors mothers' or something (or maybe they had truck trouble at that time...he did have a different truck this time) ; anyway i felt obligated to put in a good word for this guy. his company had the best price and they did a great job. i should give them a five but am afraid this review might then seem to be way over the top. i'm also now compelled to visit his shop/store to pick his brain about restorations.
